Concept of the Program Offer
In the future, instruction oriented toward action and experience will take place at the State Garden Show Trier site during the morning. In an integrated approach, the “Green Classroom” will offer school students and young people at different age levels various instructional topics surrounding the elements of the cultural garden show. With this “hands-on” approach, they can discover and better understand nature and culture and contribute to their own awareness of the environment. 
The programs in our offer Kids & Teens promise not only to broaden the knowledge and experience of the school students; they also promise a day full of diversity and excitement at the State Garden Show.

Who should benefit from these offers?
Our Kids & Teens instructional themes and projects are addressed to all school forms and grade levels of the city and regional schools in and around Trier and in all of Rhineland-Palatinate. And we welcome as well the school classes from the neighboring partner regions in the European aggregation of Saarland – Luxembourg – Lorraine.

What does that mean, the “Green Classroom”?
The offer Kids & Teens also uses the central idea of the magic of the four elements of the State Garden Show Trier, “Earth,” “Air,” “Fire,” and “Water.” In this respect, different thematic events will be offered with a length of 90 minutes for only one class at a time. We are currently working to complete the topics and the dates of the offers for you as soon as possible. The future detailed theme catalog offers all teachers a good overview to aid in planning the next school field trip or the coming excursion or project day. Well qualified employees of various professions and institutions are assisting the events team of the State Garden Show Trier who will be assist in the instruction.

Where is the “Green Classroom”?
In the green outdoors, of course! So that the students can recognize and understand the relationships in our environment up close and personal, instructional topics will be conducted mostly outdoors. Therefore, we request that the Kids & Teens be recommended to wear clothing properly adapted to the respective weather conditions as well as sturdy shoes. Please look for the exact locations of the instructional offers in the future theme catalog.
